Easter egg hunts are such a pivotal springtime experience. This is your way to get into the holiday experience while your child makes memories they will keep with them for years to come. If you have been looking for a way to celebrate but aren’t quite sure where to go, I have you covered! As an Atlanta family photographer, I get the chance to chat with clients all across the city and find out about their favorite local places. Here are the Easter egg hunts around Atlanta I now always recommend.

130 West Paces Ferry Road NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30305
Atlanta History Center offers an Egg Scavenger Hunt each year, where your child can come, search for Easter eggs, and meet the Easter Bunny. This event isn’t timed, giving your child as much time as they need to hunt. Once your child finds some eggs, they will be able to trade them in for carefully selected, age-appropriate treats.
625 Park Ave SE, Atlanta, Georgia 30308
Easter Egg Hunt at Grant Park is a yearly tradition with plenty of eggs, so no child will feel left out! They ask that you reserve your child’s spot ahead of time so they can make sure they don’t run into any shortages. As you help your child, be sure to keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny! The event is available for kids of all ages.
2525 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, Georgia 30066
If you are looking for something a little different, you might love the Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop! During this event, a helicopter will fly over Sprayberry High School and drop over 90,000 eggs. Once your child is done collecting their finds, you will be able to enjoy activities such as face painting, inflatables, and tons of candy!
600 Brown Industrial Parkway, Canton, Georgia 30114
Easter Eggstravaganza offers timed egg hunts for kids of all ages. Each hunt will be broken down by age to ensure every kid will be able to have the best time ever! Throughout the event, there will also be a variety of activities, including carnival games, a petting zoo, and snacks.
200 Morgan Falls Rd, Sandy Springs, Georgia 30350
Over at Morgan Falls Overlook Park, they are determined to make sure every child is able to fully enjoy this season. They offer hunts specifically for kids with physical and developmental disabilities. Your child will be able to embark on an expedition where they can search for dinosaur eggs and dig for fossils before it’s time to meet a very special prehistoric guest!

If you have been looking for the best way to get into the Easter spirit, I really think you are going to love these Easter egg hunts in Atlanta. With all of these spots, you can make some memories that will last for years to come!
