Spanning 30 lush acres in the center of Midtown, this is the ideal place to go and enjoy the sunshine. They host frequent family programs that give you a way to bond with your child while learning more about nature! From Garden Playtimes to Storybook Time, they have just the thing!

If your child is passionate about animals, Zoo Atlanta is for you in the Spring! The park is home to animals from all across the globe, giving you the chance to travel to exotic destinations without ever leaving the city! You can hang out with all the animals from the fiercest of lions to the cuddliest of sheep. They also have kids’ areas and family activities you are going to love!

Each April, the city throws the Atlanta Dogwood Festival in Piedmont Park. This is the perfect time to go out, take in the sights, and support the community. They go all out, bringing in an artist market, live music, and an engaging Kids’ Village. Things run from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, with the full schedule available online.

Each Spring at Washington Farms, the grounds open back up to welcome visitors to another planting season just outside Atlanta! They host family activities on Saturday mornings with over 30 available activities to do with your child. You can hop aboard a wagon ride, test your balance on a low ropes course, and meet some adorable animals over at the petting zoo.

For over 20 years, the Atlanta Beltline has become the place where the city goes to get outside. This 22-mile loop features scenic trails that take you around to several different parks in the area. As you make your trek, you can explore art galleries, see live events, stop into a store, and taste some of the best food in the city!
